About us
Two Sticks Inc. is a New York-based conservation studio specializing in modern and contemporary art conservation and was founded in 2005. Two Sticks Inc. collaborates with and provides art conservation services of a broad range of materials for institutions, corporations, private collectors and major galleries. The studio adheres to the AIC code of Ethics and is affiliated with international professional organizations such as AIC, ICOM-CC and IIC.
Roger Griffith
Conservator
Roger received his MA in Art Conservation from the Royal College of Art/ Victoria & Albert Museum Joint Conservation Program in 1997. He has worked at major institutions including: The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam and the University of East Anglia: Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich England. He has published and lectured internationally on various topics of conservation and his current research examines the nature of the collaborative process of art professionals particularly ephemeral contemporary art.
Tomoya Minowa
Conservation Technician/
Studio Manager
Tomoya joined Two Sticks, Inc in 2018 when he moved from Tokyo, Japan. He has a degree from Aoyama Gakuin University in International Communication and a diploma in Graphic Design. He provides technical support with conservation treatments as well as helps to maintain the studio.

Katie Sabo Textile Conservation specializes in the conservation and mounting of historic and contemporary textile based artifacts. Our Princeton, New Jersey based studio is equipped for both conservation treatments and custom mount manufacture.
